Meet My Fabulous In-house Team

Let's Chat

Your in-house marketing team that cares

All UK based and full-time

When I launched in 2008 it was just me, it took me a long time to hire a team because I was against being seen as a marketing agency.

I have always wanted to give a dedicated service that’s personal, I also don’t agree about taking credit for clients success, it doesn’t sit right with me.

Over the years I have built a team of talented individuals that care about the business just as much as me.

They are all in-house, full time, we do not outsource.

Let me introduce my superstars who along side me will look after you and your business.

If you could describe your personality in one word what would it be?
Balanced

What made you choose marketing as a career?
I just sort of fell into SEO it to be honest due to ecommerce experience but I love it.

If you could describe your boss (Carrie-ann) in one word what would it be? - Don't be shy, she can take it
**** but guessing you can't use that so... Busy

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
More empathy. We are all just trying to get through 'life'

Lastly, where do you see the world of marketing going?
In the short term I think personalisation will become massive to give each user an individual experience.

In the long term I think marketing will be a fully immersive experience for the end user using augmented reality, virtual stores and interactive ads.

All powered by AI but you need the skills to use the AI. That's where we fit in.

If you could describe your personality in one word what would it be?
Silly

What made you choose marketing as a career?
It's not something I planned, it just caught my attention when I was considering an apprenticeship all those years ago.

I liked the idea of working in an industry where no day will ever be the same.

If you could describe your boss (Carrie-ann) in one word what would it be? Don't be shy, she can take it.
Temperamental.

A bit like Marlin from finding memo, can be grumpy but very loving and nurturing.

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
Less drama in the world. There's so much fighting and uncertainty at the moment that it can feel a bit dark.

Lastly, where do you see the world of marketing going?
I think anyone can be in influencer now, so that area of marketing may lose popularity in time.

I think the culture will still exist, but it will look very different, who knows! I also believe that AI will become more prominent and static content will continue to decline.

Lastly, where do you see the world of marketing going?
A continued shift by the younger generations towards short and fast video content / trends on social media.

Transparent

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
Less conflict

Lastly, where do you see the world of marketing going?
I believe the creativity that marketers bring will always be essential. While AI will undoubtedly drive change, I don’t see that as a negative. It’s about embracing those changes and using AI as a tool to enhance what we do, rather than viewing it as a replacement.

Strong. I see her as a really strong person as she is always confident in what she does.

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
If I could change one thing about the world it would be kindness. If the world was kinder to each other a lot of problems would be solved and it would be a nicer place to be.

Lastly, where do you see the world of marketing going?
I think the world of marketing is becoming a lot more visual and personalised.

Brands are needing to become much more personal with their audience by sharing more video content of themselves and their business to show they are relatable.

People want to see the real side of a business. I am asking a lot more of my clients to share videos of them speaking and it has increased engagement and interest.

It fits my skillset, helping businesses make money will always be useful, it is stimulating and rewarding.

If you could describe your boss (Carrie-ann) in one word what would it be? Don't be shy, she can take it.
Talented, compassionate, a bit nuts

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
Literally, as in I could wave a magic wand? change human nature to something a bit more compassionate - i.e. desires to pool to resources to sort out hunger, get rid of inequality / resolve conflict.

Super cliche but if you did give me one thing to change, that'd be it. lots of problems could be solved if individual desire to make more money/get more power didn't trump a lot of things... there's some irony there with being in marketing hahaha.

Jake

Jake Gannon

SEO Executive

If you could describe your personality in one word what would it be?
Inquisitive

What made you choose marketing as a career?
I'm drawn to the mix of creativity and data. SEO feels like a giant puzzle where every change affects something else, and I enjoy figuring out how all the pieces fit together to help brands grow.

If you could describe your boss (Carrie-ann) in one word what would it be?
Supportive

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
More people learning before assuming. It would make everything run smoother.

Lastly, where do you see the world of marketing going?
As AI matures, users will expect marketing that feel tailored, immediate, and conversational. Brands that understand intent, not just keywords, will win.

Kim

Kimberley Gammage

Paid Social Media Manager

Kim has been an in-house digital marketer for over a decade working across a wide scope of industries from restaurants and meal plans to industrial printers and edtech in the UK, Europe and the UAE.

Skills: Social media, paid advertising, email marketing, design, communications.

Talent: Understanding what the user wants and making sure they get it.

If you could describe your personality in one word what would it be?
Nurturing

What made you choose marketing as a career?
It kind of chose me, I ended up in digital marketing entirely by accident. When I built my first website at 13 I never thought it would end up being my career. I grew up with an retail designer for a dad so I had strong opinions on how things should look for people to want to interact with it and my loud mouth ended up with me being given the social media accounts to manage at every job I had, then it was the websites, then the emails and it just spiralled from there.

If you could describe your boss (Carrie-ann) in one word what would it be? Don't be shy, she can take it.
Passionate.

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
I would bring back community where we speak to each other again - face-to-face and we appreciate what a privilege it is to get to help a neighbour or friend and live in a world where we're not so fearful of being there for one another.

Lastly, where do you see the world of marketing going?
I feel like we're coming full circle. With the rise of AI in marketing starting to create deep rifts of distrust with customers, more and more businesses are going to start going back to more traditional (or traditional adjacent) forms of marketing to prove what they're doing is real.

Daniel White

Daniel White

Google Ads PPC Account Manager

Daniel is our PPC and Performance Marketing Executive, and the person you want keeping a close eye on your Google Ads budget. He loves digging into the data, spotting what’s wasting money and finding ways to get campaigns working harder. Google certified across Search, Shopping and Performance Max, Daniel is happiest when the numbers are heading in the right direction.

If you could describe your personality in one word what would it be?
Resilient

What made you choose marketing as a career?
I’ve always had an interest in marketing throughout my education, from college through to my undergraduate degree. I then decided to specialise further by studying for a Master’s degree in Digital Marketing. During my studies, I was introduced to PPC and quickly found it particularly interesting. I enjoy the combination of creativity and data, and I like being able to analyse performance to understand what makes campaigns work and what can be improved.

If you could describe your boss (Carrie-ann) in one word what would it be? - Don't be shy, she can take it
Determined

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
If I could change one thing, I’d like people to be kinder and more understanding towards one another. Everyone has different circumstances and experiences that may not always be obvious from the outside, so I think we could all benefit from being less judgemental and taking the time to understand what someone else may be going through.

I see marketing continuing to lean heavily into AI, particularly as platforms increasingly rely on data and machine learning to optimise campaigns and better understand audiences. At the moment, there is a strong focus on providing algorithms with as much high-quality data and information as possible.

However, I also think we are entering a period where finding the right balance between AI and the human side of marketing will be equally important. As AI becomes more widespread, qualities such as creativity, strategic thinking, understanding customers and building genuine connections could become even more valuable. I think the strongest marketers will be those who know how to use AI effectively while still maintaining that human touch.

One of my main hobbies is going to the gym, which I do at least four times a week with guidance from my coach. I’m someone who is consistently driven to improve myself, and training gives me a great way to work towards that.

I’m also a massive football and basketball fan. I support Arsenal and the Los Angeles Lakers, so sport is definitely a big part of my interests outside of work.

Calvin

Calvin Mistry

Google Ads PPC Account Manager

Calvin enjoys working closely with clients, understanding their businesses and figuring out how to get the best out of their marketing. He has experience across PPC and digital marketing and particularly enjoys the problem solving side of the job.

He likes looking at the numbers, figuring out what is actually going on and then turning that into something useful for the client. He also believes that having a good relationship with clients is just as important as getting the numbers right.

Skills: Google Ads, PPC, paid search, account management, campaign management, reporting, optimisation, keyword research and client relationships.

Talent: Communication!

If you could describe your personality in one word what would it be?
Competitive.
Whether it is work, football or running, I definitely like a bit of competition.
I started running more seriously recently and I would say I am probably better than the average runner now, which I will happily tell anyone who asks.

What made you choose marketing as a career?
I like that there is a bit of everything in marketing.

There is the creative side, but there is also the analytical side where you can look at the numbers and actually see what is working.

I particularly enjoy PPC because there is always something to improve. I like looking at an account, figuring out where things could be better and then seeing whether the changes actually make a difference.

I also enjoy working with clients. Every business is different, so you are always learning something new.

If you could describe your boss in one word what would it be? Don't be shy, she can take it.
Caring.
From the first time we spoke in my interview, she stressed how much she cares about her employees, which was really nice to hear.

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
Get rid of VAR.

I could give you a serious answer about world peace or something, but realistically, football would be a much better place without VAR.

Nothing beats celebrating a goal and then having to wait three minutes to find out if someone's toenail was offside.

Lastly, where do you see the world of marketing going?
Down the AI rabbit hole.

AI is obviously going to become a massive part of marketing. We are already seeing it everywhere, from creating content and ads to analysing data and helping with campaign optimisation.

I think the interesting part will be seeing how businesses use it without everything starting to feel exactly the same.

AI can make things quicker, but I still think there needs to be a human element behind the marketing. Otherwise, we are going to end up with thousands of brands producing the same content, written by the same AI, for people who are also probably using AI to ignore it.

So yes, I think we are heading down the AI rabbit hole. I just hope we don't disappear completely down it.

This experience made me realise that marketing wasn't just a side hobby, it was a passion of mine. I then decided to pursue a Masters in Digital Marketing to compliment my tech background - and the rest is history!

If you could describe your boss (Carrie-ann) in one word what would it be? Don't be shy, she can take it.
Entertaining (From what I've seen so far!)

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
Inequality - every human being deserves to live a healthy and fulfilling life. No one should be held back by where they were born or by how much money they have.

Lastly, where do you see the world of marketing going?
With the rise of AI, the world of marketing is changing fast.

I can see businesses using AI to create a tailored experience that delivers the right message to people based on their behaviour and interests.

If you could describe your personality in one word what would it be?
Curious.

What made you choose marketing as a career?
There is no other field where you get to play with and leverage data one minute, and then think deeply about the use of language in the next. I love numbers and words, so I get to exercise both interests daily.

If you could describe your boss (Carrie-ann) in one word what would it be? Don't be shy, she can take it.
To-the-point

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
I think we can all agree to go back to chips being included in the price of a burger in pubs.

Lastly, where do you see the world of marketing going?
I think digital marketing in particular needs to acknowledge that even though we leverage a lot of data, at its core we’re still trying to influence consumer behaviour - just as our traditional marketing colleagues do. I believe we have no choice but to accept that.

One word to describe personality
Outgoing

What made you choose marketing?
It sort of fell at my feet, and i come to learn i was actually quite good at it. It excites me that there's so many different things to do under one job role, no day is the same and you get the opportunity to build some amazing relationships with some great people

Talent: The kindest soul you’ll ever meet.

Let's start with a free 1-2-1 with me

  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

Making people happy is what makes me happy:

  • I have been in business since 2008.

I am very loyal to all my clients and don't believe in shouting about my success when working with them, it doesn't sit right with my values.

Below are a few comments from some kind clients. We sign NDAs with most clients so can only share what has been given freely.

    A note from me - Carrie-ann Sudlow
  • We have been working with Carrie-Ann Sudlow Consultancy for the past 7 months now.

We took the decision to outsource our marketing requirements, to ensure that we had more control over achieving our marketing KPI's month on month.

We have been delighted with the service, and the outcomes that we have achieved since hiring Carrie Ann and her team.

Their analytics based approach is very in line with our expectations on leveraging data driven metrics to achieve success.

They have helped us completely re-build our marketing lead funnel, and the whole team are consistently responsive and pro-active in our day to day interactions.

Steve Odart - Chairman and Founder, Stabal
  • Carrie-Ann is a force of nature. She is dedicated to her clients and always striving for the best possible results.

She is knowledgeable with all the digital marketing matters, always updated with the latest tech/digital trends which allows her to stay on top of the competition.

Carrie-Ann has an extreme attention to details which is unmatched and that reflect in the quality of the work she provides.

Since working on our SEO with Carrie-Ann, our KPIs have been improving constantly on a monthly basis, with an astonishing ROI! Since I first connected with Carrie-Ann I felt I could trust her which for me is the most important thing before starting a working relationship.

    I will always recommend Carrie-Ann!

Marco Lassandro - Marketing Communications Manager - Innovative Trials
  • I have had mixed experiences of companies offering SEO over the years and Carrie-ann Sudlow was recommended by my web designer.

Previous experiences with SEO companies usually consisted of a flurry of activity immediately post engagement and then a rapid fall off in contact and results, along with regularly changing account managers which breaks any continuity.

From the get go Carrie-ann was full on and direct which is what exactly what I needed. Someone who gets it done!

Contact has always been regular with detailed monthly reports and phone calls or live video link as needed. Any queries or questions always get an immediate response and the results since engagement have been remarkable.

I used to have sizeable AdWords budget but over the last few years organic leads have increased to such an extent that AdWords have been paused permanently. So a massive saving and her work more than justifies the cost!

In conclusion I would have absolutely no reservations in recommending Carrie-ann Sudlow Consultancy for SEO work.

Keith D Goodfellow (Principal) - Racking Inspection Services
  • Just wanted to say a big thank you for all the work you did on my website.

In the last month I've had 6 new fertility clients, all of which came from google and 4 one off pregnancy apts - also all google.

This is such a huge uptick compared to the last 3 months and I really believe the SEO work is behind this.

Katy Ewen - Owner - ReflexEast
  • Carrie Ann transformed the performance of our business by working tirelessly to massively reduce the cost per sale from £36 to less than £0.10. I’d recommend their services to anyone who is serious about increasing the leads or sales generated through their website.

Chris Fogg - Founder - Everywalk
  • Carrie Ann equals success for me and my company. She is the reason behind my fast growth. Yes myself and drivers do the driving but the work Carrie Ann does with my marketing and on my website to enable me to get a volume of enquiries and bookings every day is remarkable.

I have gone from a one vehicle chauffeur to a fleet of chauffeured vehicles in a very short space of time because of the effort and creativity Carrie Ann brings to my marketing. She is by far the reason I am one of Manchester and the North West’s leading chauffeur companies.

Karl Munroe - Director - Get Chauffeured
  • We needed a specialist SEO consultant to promote our product on the web. Six months on, we are appearing highly across all search engines and on page 1 in a number of highly competitive key words for our sector.

Our traffic has increased considerably. Carrie-ann has worked brilliantly for our business.

David Thompson - Director - Dg Mutual
  • A very valuable service - Carrie-Ann has significantly improved our SEO rankings within a short period of time.

We enjoy working with her and her team - we would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone.

Clare Dudley - Sales and marketing Director VOCOVO team communications.
  • Over the years I've owned and ran various businesses, one of them very big, and am used to hiring and firing staff. I've "worked" with or hired a lot of different (so called) web designers, seo experts etc.

David was a very pleasant surprise in comparison. Knowledgeable, thorough, helpful, patient, approachable, understanding. Refreshing. I would not hesitate to recommend him or your company to anyone seeking a website, seo etc services. He made what started out as a stressful situation enjoyable and educational.

  • I would like to share My feedback regarding the quality of service I have received so far from Carrie-Ann's company.

I work closely with a lady called Mya and she has been helping Me create the perfect social media accounts for My brand for a few months now.

Mya is extremely responsive and reliable and has succeeded in creating the most amazing visuals for My account. She is very creative and is constantly improving and adjusting her approach and style to exceed My expectations and provide top quality service.

I depend on Mya totally when it comes to My socials and I know that all I need to do is suggest an idea and she would take care of the rest impeccably.

I highly recommend working with Mya and I always look forward to the amazing visuals she will come up with next.

  • I received consultation with Carrie for my social media art businesses, she was not only a pleasure to talk to, but had an in depth understanding of how I needed to grow and develop my business. Would definitely recommend and will reach out again!

  • This is my first time writing a review, because I am so happy to be working with these amazing people. Very professional, they treat you as an individual case and know you inside out, your brand, your personality, and create content accordingly.

Carrie-Ann is efficient, straight to the point, knows what she is doing and what works and what doesn't.

You can tell she is running this agency out of passion. And Mya is a GEM!! Not only is she good at giving ideas and creating content, but she is also super fun to work with, very educated and very empathetic too.

  • Carrie Ann Sudlow and her team have been working on delivering more organic traffic to Skylark Galleries’ website since April 2022, with the aim of both raising the profile of our artist-led gallery and increasing sales to the online gallery, a relatively new innovation that complements our long-established Southbank gallery

During that time we have seen steady increases in traffic to our website and online sales.

Added to this we have also seen an increase of visitors coming to our physical gallery in Gabriel’s Wharf who mention that they found us online.

Carrie-Ann’s team provides a monthly report and a video walk through in easy-to-understand language, which is much appreciated. The team members are very approachable, and are always happy to explain anything that we don’t understand.

Over time we have seen how valuable this support is to our business.

We are very happy to recommend Sudlow Marketing to others

  • Carrie-ann has been managing our SEO since 2021 ( and currently does!) when I joined Innovative Trials as Marketing Manager.

Their work has been PHENOMENAL and one of the main reasons our website increased inbound enquiries by 150% YoY in 2021, 200% YoY in 2022 and 70% in 2023.

They managed to push into the Top 5 or 10 in all the most important Keywords for our industry ( and I am not talking about PPC adverts here)! I love the monthly reports we receive that contain incredibly useful information about our website vitals, the work that has been done the previous month and the work that will be done in the upcoming months. Considering the great work they have done in SEO we decided to start PPC campaigns with Carrie-Ann, as it was the right time to link paid campaigns and organic searches. Another great experience here with Zac always looking after us and being incredibly responsive to all our requests.

We are now in the final process of creating a new landing page for one of our clients and I personally worked with David on this project which has run smoothly so far! Like Zac, David has been incredibly responsive to any of my requests, we had several calls to review the LP and we are pretty much ready to finalise it.

I have worked nearly 10 years in marketing and Carrie-ann is the best out there for cost/quality of work.

How did I find her? Via a Google search... "probably" meaning that they are pretty good at it :)

Thank you so much for your quick and effective intervention. I'd have been lost without it!

I'm so happy and relieved, thank you!
