ISDS is Hawthorne’s very own soccer training organization serving all soccer players from ages 2 years old to Adult soccer. ISDS was created to teach soccer in a professional way by the professionals. We deliver a professional soccer education to our students so they can take their soccer to the next level!

WHAT ARE YOU DOING DURING THE CURRENT COVID-19 SITUATION?

We’re excited to be able to work with our players in a team fashion and on an individual basis through virtual soccer lessons! We’ve got gift cards that can be purchased and drop-in sessions where players can work on certain skills. Not only that, we’ve got several exciting FREE challenges and events – our 2 week challenge starts tomorrow, and today (March 24th) we’re going LIVE on Instagram at 1145am EST – with Jamie Hoyland (Everton FC First Team Head Scout from Premier League) and afterward with Hawthorne HS graduate and Fitness guru, Erika la Monaka – along with a bunch more fitness and soccer guests. WHAT’S YOUR ADVICE TO BOTH CONSUMERS AND OTHER BUSINESSES RIGHT NOW?

Stay in touch. On a personal level, it’s important to stay connected with friends and family. We are lucky that we live in an age of technology where we can do that and still follow Social Distancing guidelines. As a consumer, there are many businesses like my own that are offering virtual sessions – but also offering free ones. Take advantage of both. International Soccer Development Schools is a small business as well, and we’re all doing our best right now. To other businesses, be willing to adapt to this market. Take guidance from your marketing support and financial advisors. Make sure that when everything is back to normal, you don’t have to start from scratch too. Stay in touch with your current clients just as much as you try to make new ones.
